The ceremony was interesting with the hand off of the flag to the incoming commander. Ben gave a speech and one of the things he said to his guys was to continue to prepare for war, but pray for peace. He was eloquent and sincere and from the comments of his men afterwards, I
could tell they respect him and will miss him. Ben doesn't talk about what he does at work much so it was cool hearing a little about what he was been doing with his
command for the last eleven months. For one, he has been in charge of over 170 million dollars of munitions. Sounds like a big deal to me. The write up on him in the program is a page long full of his schooling accomplishments, special training and awards he has been given over the years. Super proud of you Ben.

I never imagined that sweet little Ben would have ever been an army guy! We are all proud of you and all of your accomplishments Ben! Especially your beautiful family!
HOOOO-RAH!!! to the Ben!! Talk about Captain Moroni, Ben is our modern day equivalent. We here in this household are super proud of you Sir! Relax for a week with your great family, have a Merry Christmas, and then start the year with a new command.
