Nope, I'm not in Korea. And I'm not at home either. I'm stuck in San Francisco. Dang it. That storm in SLC this morning made things difficult so by the time I got to SFO I was SOL and have been killing time hanging around the bay area all day. Luckily, I am an international passenger and they gave me a hotel room.
here is the beast - The Mondrian House. I've never been involved in a project that felt so overwhelmingly detailed. No matter how much time we put in, it felt like it would NEVER end. It was also so much more work than I thought it would be.
Michele, Grandma and Bearded M came to watch our presentations {thanks guys!}
I can't remember the last time I felt so relieved to have something behind me. I like building models, but I don't want to build another one for a long, long time.

I love your mondrion. I hope you get to Korea soon. I love Bearded M. You two look like you fit perfectly together.
So, you are incorporating artist's into architecture. What comes next a Picasso house? You got Mondrian nailed right down to his blocks of primary colors accented with lines of black. Now all you need to do is throw in some Sassoon assymetry and you will have a throwback to the 70's fashion.
San Fran is like Chicago,.....once you get hung up there you are there forever. Just ask Cara!
Yeah I did SFO once upon a holiday travel season. Only they didn't put me in a hotel. I got to sleep on the floor of the airport. It was so Tom Hanks in The Terminal.
So when does this guy get a real name? Or are we calling him Beardy McBeardface forever? What if he shaves?
Cara, his name is Mike and that's all I know about the Dude. We just have to be patient, I guess.
Grandma calls Sunday evening and tells me you were stuck in SF overnight!! So when I get off the phone and tell everyone at the dinner table Parker perks up and says.....oh yeah, Jenna called and said something about Jazz tickets being at a window...did you tell him you were stuck in SF also?? I can never rely on the messengers in my home!! Hope you are in Korea by now!! AND thanks for securing those tickets....we had a blast!!
I knew I should have asked Parker to write it down! Glad you had fun at the game Frybaby. And Cara, yeah, his name is Mike and he's the coolest. One day I'll give you the run down, until then, I'm building suspense!
