sandals in the snow

When I got ready for the day I put on my version of winter shoes. Well, sandals actually. With socks. (yeah, breaking all kinds of unwritten fashion laws) I thought I'd be fine since there wasn't any white stuff on the ground.

You can't blame me for wishful thinking.

Who knew I'd come out of class to a full on blizzard.

Severe weather watch even.

I'm now conducting business from under my down comforter.

Jeff Foxworthy says, "You know you're in Utah if you see someone in a down coat with shorts on!" I guess sandals and socks are about the same thing! We must be in Utah!!

Unwritten law of fashion? Jenna I'm nearly positive that not wearing socks with sandals is a written law of fashion, actually no, I'm completely positive.

teenwolf, thanks for clarifying. in my defense you can't see my socks... I'm in denial. I think if I wear sandals the snow will go away.

Umm, it seems I must take this one step further. Wearing socks with sandals is indefensible.

if wearing sandals will make the snow go away then please keep going! I may join you. But without the socks. :)

Oops!! I always prefer to wear winter and waterproof boots in the snow.
