Friday could not come soon enough for some of us here in PyeungTek. Mainly Ben. It was cool and all to become Major, and I'm sure it feels good to hand off his command, but Friday was the day he picked up his much dreamt about motorcycle.
He caught the bus to Seoul then rode it back on the back roads enjoying every freezing minute of it. We ran outside when he got home and waited for him on the side of the building where he told us to wait. He had it all planned out so that he and Kwona could make a grand, true to the Harley name, rumbling entrance in style. 
Here they are.
And there they go. They took off on the maiden voyage, the kids all got five minute turns, then Ben and Kwona were off again to Osan {40 minutes away} to run errands. Remember that it is bitter cold here. Ben can't feel it since he is on cloud 9. Well deserved Major. Still waiting patiently for my turn...

Ben is such a stud! And I mean that is the MAJORly best of ways. But for Kwona to join in his "guy thing" is very impressive. They certainly look like serious bikers. Merry Christmas Ben!!!!
They are so cute on that big bike together. Kwona is the coolest. I still remember Ben giving those 5-minute turns to us little cousins on his moped at the cabin. Some things never change!
